Suspended from the centre of this articulated necklace is a pendant composed of two similarly articulated segments. The upper segment is in the form of a bow; the lower one is decorated with three drops. The discreet silver setting displays twenty-one oval shaped topazes that alternate with forty-three smaller topazes of brilliant cut. The bow and pendant are filled with eighty-four topazes of different sizes and cuts. The short length of this necklace suggests that it was probably fastened with a ribbon.
