A figure with large wings, loaded with symbolism is this Guardian Angel of the Convento de Santa Clara, personified in the monastic Gothic church on the shield that is held in his left hand.

In his right hand he grips his sword by the hilt which he would wield to defend the faithful from the sins of the world, so guaranteeing that the Franciscan disciplines and spiritual values of the Santa Clara Order were upheld. This work is also attributed to the Master of the Royal Tombs.
