Last details before the upcoming reopening of the Machado de Castro National Museu (MNMC) in Coimbra, Portugal. The Museum is an important national cultural venue located in a concentrated urban set with visitable architectural remains dating back more than two thousand years.

The MNMC first opened its doors in 1913 and became a National Museum in 1965. Now, after a long period closed for extensive renovation works according to a project by Architect Gonçalo Byrne and design by FBA., the museum prepares the reunion with the public.
